Reduced formaldehyde emissions is just one of concrete steps to achieve our goal.
For the AAYERS team, environmental integrity means using our raw material, the wood, and other natural resources carefully, innovatively and continuous improvement have enabled us to drive our growth through a host of responsible gestures.
To this end, we have put in place a number of measures over the years.
•Safety:
World Class products with low formaldehyde emission rates.
•Forest preservation:
Compliance with the Lacey Act to protect against illegal forest practices and trade in forest products.
We use only non-genetically modified lumber as raw material to produce flooring.
•Less air pollution:
Compliance with CARB Phase 2 standards to reduce air pollution caused by chemicals.
•Wood and waste recycling:
100% of wood waste generated in the manufacture of AAYERS floors is repurposed.
Part of it is used to fuel the boilers which generate electricity.
The rest is sold and transformed into wood fiber panels and packaging materials.
•Renewable energy:
The boilers that run on waste wood is a renewable energy source and reduce dependency on other forms of nonrenewable energy.
•Supply chain:
Rigorous selection of responsible suppliers.
100% water-based stain.
