Finish Technology

The Finish Overview

A finish is a top coat that will protect your floor from everyday wear and tear, it is critically important to both its appearance and maintainability.
The type of finish on a wood floor makes a difference on looks, durability and wear.
It protects the wood floor while preserving the fine details of its character: its grain, patterns and subtle colorations, which you will grow to love over time.

Ultra matte urethane with Aluminum oxide

Aayers Ultra Matte finish is a great choice if you would like to accentuate the natural look of the wood and it is the latest fashion design.
A matte finish does not reflect as much light as a glossy floor does, and also does not show as much dirt, debris, and damage as high-gloss finishes.
Developed together with Klumpp, a world leader in the aluminum oxide based floor finish business, our unique multi layer stain aluminum oxide based wood floor finishes is the latest coating breakthrough of our industry.

These Finishes protect the hardwood floor without compromising its beauty-or the environment and with super-clear coats enhances the look of the grain, and shows off every nuance of color, pattern and texture.

Smoked & Aged

Dramatic look, rich and alluring visual elements that add design and depth to a room, these singular elements are results of smoked steam techniques applied by our artisans who strive for perfection.
Our aged smoked timber flooring is of the highest-quality with the natural figuring of the grain accented by gently heat treatment.
As opposed to surface stained floors, smoked planks are stained several millimetres deep, depending on how long it was smoked.
With wear, scratches will not show the original colour of the wood, offering the benefit of hiding signs of wear.
Aged smoked timber flooring products can offer your project a very different look.
